Vinegar Version GALILEO II Closure Receives the Prestigious Brazilian Embanews Award

BERICAP do Brasil has received the prestigious Embanews 2007 award for the GALILEO II closure in its vinegar version. The award, which follows their receipt of the French Salon d'Emballage award of the same format, is presented to those companies which have introduced innovations in packaging solutions in the previous year.
The GALILEO II closure, first introduced to the market in Brazil, was selected by CASTELO ALIMENTOS to enhance the contemporary look of its new bottle. The translucency of the overcap, combined with the functional reactive hinge and the unique four-hole, jet-spraying, dosing solution, was recognised and praised by the judging commission. The 26/21 neck-finish, which allows 1.3g PET savings per bottle, was the clinching factor.
