Korsnäs Chosen for Demanding Print on Lindt Pack

When packing a smooth and mouth-watering product like top quality chocolates only the best will do. That's why the Italian converter Arti Grafiche Cellerino specially chose FRÖVI LIGHT for this Lindt chocolate selection box, because of its superb combination of strength, print surface and product safety.
The pack construction demanded a strong material to allow for the box to be made up to not only ensure protection of the contents but also to display them at their best. At the same time the fine clay-coated print surface of FRÖVI LIGHT allowed a depth of solid colour and high gloss to be achieved. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the purity and organoleptic properties of the Korsnäs material guaranteed that the board would not give any taint or odour problems to the chocolates.
All in all a "gold standard" success for Lindor and Korsnäs.
FRÖVI LIGHT is a virgin firbre cartonboard with a four-layer construction. It has an unbleached bottom layer and a bleached (TCF = Totally Chlorine Free) clay-coated top layer. FRÖVI LIGHT has the right strength properties for weight reduction and smart packaging solutions. Other outstanding characteristics are moisture resistance, purity and a good printing surface. Substance range 250gsm - 330gsm.
