Productive Systems - Wadding and Lining Machines, Palletising and Conveying Systems, Stretch Wrappers and Bagging

Productive Systems is a machine design and building company specialising in the supply of machinery for the packaging industry. Our design office allows for flexible machine design, ensuring that the machines delivered are tailor made for our customers' specific needs and products. Our core business and field of expertise is in the handling of empty plastic bottles, empty glass bottles and other plastic injection-moulded products.

WADDING OR LINING MACHINES

The punch-type wadding machine or lining machine punches a liner (wad) out of a strip of material – for example, EPPE foam or induction-sealing material – into a plastic closure. The cap-sealing machine feeds the caps in bulk to an unscrambler or vibratory bowl feeder that orientates the caps correctly before feeding the caps onto an index table for inserting into the wad or liner.

EMPTY BOTTLE PALLETISERS AND PALLET CONVEYOR SYSTEMS

We manufacture a tower type palletiser for palletising empty plastic and glass bottles. It is unique in that with one tower a fully automated system capable of handling up to 14,000 bottles/hr can be achieved.

As well as these automatic bottle-handling palletisers, we also supply:

• PET bottle airveyors (airconveyors) for high-speed lines
• Various types of conveyor systems for slower lines and glass-bottle lines
• Pallet-conveyor systems (chain or roller)
• Pallet-dispenser units
• Gravitational roller-conveyor systems

FULLY AND SEMI-AUTOMATIC STRETCH WRAPPERS

We manufacture fully automatic and semi-automated swirl type stretch-wrapping machines, especially designed for unstable products where the pallet remains stationary while the wrapper head moves around the pallet.

• In-feed and out-feed pallet conveyoring
• Pallet turntables also supplied, making it a fully automated system

CONVEYOR SYSTEMS

Our range of FlexiLine aluminium-profile conveyors or stainless-steel conveyors compliment our machinery in any application. Our modular conveyor systems have been implemented in:

• Food-packaging lines
• Filling lines of various types of liquids
• The paper-converting industry
• Tobacco production
• Plastic and glass production lines

We supply acetal slat-type chain-belting, mattop type belting, roller type (driven or free running) and airconveying systems.

PLASTIC BOTTLE BAGGING MACHINES

We also manufacture plastic-bottle bagging machines for up to 6,000 bottles/hr. These plastic bottle-packing machines can handle PET and HDPE bottles, allowing for a tight, more manageable, hygienic sealed bag.

Various take-out systems for different blow-moulding machines – including Nissei, Urola, Aoki, Sidel and Krupp – are supplied, to take the bottles from the blow-moulding machine to the bagging machine. The bagger is fully automated except for the hooking of the bag and removing of the bag after it is sealed.

CAP ASSEMBLING MACHINES

Cap assembly of two or three-part plastic caps (closures) is possible on our rotary (carousel) or indexing machines. Push-pull cap assembling or sports cap assembling requires the different parts of the cap to be unscrambled and then assembled at a specific production rate with quality control to determine if the caps have been assembled correctly.

DRUM PRINTING

Another of Productive Systems' innovations is the design and manufacture of a world first: a two-colour, large, plastic-drum printing line with UV curing. This screen printing-line allows for flaming, drum orientation and UV printing, to create a transportable drum within eight minutes from blowing.

Drums from 200L to 250L can be accommodated on the line with automatic drum-recognition.
