Weyhmüller Verpackungstechnik - Paper Cup, Carton Can and Cone Sleeve Manufacturing Machines

For over 50 years now Weyhmüller Verpackungstechnik has been supplying a variety of packaging machines for the production of drinking and ice-cream cups, carton cans and tubes, combined plastic and paper cups, ice-cream cone sleeves snack and drinking cones as well as those for the production of the necessary blanks.

In addition to which we have the experience and know-how to satisfy our customer's special wishes.

PAPER CUP MACHINES FOR DRINKING AND ICE CREAM CUPS MACHINE: MODELS CBU-O / CBU-OL

These are twin turntable machines for the production of drinking cups as used for example in the fast-food industry for hot and cold drinks of double or single sided polyethylene coated board.

The CBU-O with a product range of approximately 6 - 30oz and up to 160 cups per minute capacity is the workhorse of this range.

The CBU-OL has a product range of approximately 12 - 70oz and a capacity of up to 140 cups per minute.

Optional extras include a grooving station for lids and a web-feeding unit for the use of pre-printed base stock.

COMBINED PLASTIC AND PAPER CUP / TUB MACHINES: CBU-DES

A single turntable machine for the production of destocups for the packaging of food and non-food products.

The product range of the CBU-DES is approximately 75ml to 2,000ml incorporating circular and non-round cups. Capacity; up to 135 cups per minute.

Optional features include a gluing station for connecting the paper base to the plastic inlet and a printing unit for the base (date / bar code) and an elevator as an automated inlet buffer.

PARALLEL-WALLED CONTAINER MACHINES: MODELS CBU-OC / CBU-OLC / CBU-OLCT / CBU-OS

The CBU-OC and CBU-OLC are single turntable machines for the production of carton cans without brim-roll.

• CBU-OC: diameter min/max 38 - 85mm, speed up to 120 per minute
• CBU-OLC: diameter min/max 50 - 110mm, speed up to 100 per minute

The CBU-OLCT is a twin turntable machine for carton can production with or without brim-roll to the inside or outside.

• CBU-OLCT: diameters 38 - 110mm, speed up to 120 cans per minute

The manufacture of non-round cans is also possible on the above mentioned machines.

The CBU-OS is a twin turntable machine for the production of narrow, parallel sided tubes with brim-roll to the inside mainly for the confectionery industry e.g. for chocolate buttons.

• CBU-OS: diameters 24 to 40mm, machine capacity up to 120 tubes per minute

MACHINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FLAT CONES FOR ICE-CREAM PACKAGING: MODEL CBU-F

The CBU-F is a single turntable machine for the production of flat conical ice-cream cones e.g. of the "Calippo" and "Squeezer" types. Machine capacity up to 100 cones per minute.

HYGIENE SLEEVE MACHINE: MODEL CBU-W

This is a single turntable machine for the production of small sleeves of paper with or without bottom for the hygienic handling of open foodstuffs e.g. ice-cream wafer cups.

• CBU-W: simple sleeve, sleeve with bottom-edge rolled to the inside or sleeve with bottom. Bottom diameter min/max 28 - 50mm, machine speed; up to 120 sleeves per minute

DRINKING AND SNACK CONE MACHINES: MODELS S3 / S3M

Both S3 and S3M machines work from the reel, the S3 machine producing cones without and the S3M machine with brim-roll, of non-coated, coated or dry-waxed paper.

• S3: 1.6oz to 20oz, capacity up to 160 per minute
• S3M: 1.6oz to 14oz, capacity up to 125 per minute

ICE-CREAM CONE SLEEVE MACHINE: MODEL S4V

Cone winding machine for the production of ice-cream and similar cones from pre-printed blanks of aluminium/paper laminate, coated, non-coated or dry-waxed paper. Optional features include perforating and brim-rolling units.

• S4V: wall angles of 15° - 29°, diameters of 33 - 90mm depending on angle, capacity up to 200 sleeves per minute

BLANK PUNCHING OR PRINTING AND PUNCHING MACHINES: MODELS DSV 38 / DSV 70

Machines for the punching of, alternatively printing and punching of blanks, for cups, cans, cone sleeves, lids of aluminium or cardboard and many others. Working from pre-printed or non-printed reels.

• DSV 38: max web width 380mm
• DSV 70: max web width 700mm

Speeds up to 220 strokes per minute dependent upon material. Optional features include web embossing unit for aluminium and aluminium/paper laminate.
