Ord Associates Limited has been established as an independent consultancy in print and packaging for more than ten years. The business was originally created to support a major blue chip FMCG manufacturer with operations throughout Europe and Russia with a remit of providing technical expertise in printing, pre-print and project management (brand and colour management).

The range of services has been developed to include technical support and expertise in auditing quality management systems (benchmarking current suppliers and developing new suppliers), brand management, problem solving and print process training. These services are principally provided to end-users of packaging and to multi or single site printers.

An IRCA accredited auditor/lead auditor QMS 9001-2000, Certificate number 4060 IRCA Lead Auditor qms 2000 Certification number 11900185.

Ord Associates is able to undertake the ISO 9001-2000 pre-audit qualification review. This is suitable for all business types regardless of industry classification.

BRAND MANAGEMENT

Ord Associates has the unique experience of all the print techniques as well as working closely with brand owners, repro suppliers and design agencies to deliver quality and cost-effective brand consistency.

Brand samples can be collected, evaluated with a quarterly or annual report provided, depending on client needs.

Alternatively, the client retained sample can be independently reviewed with appropriate observations and recommendations fed back to the client.

This course provides a basic understanding of "the process steps in printed packaging". It examines specifications, design, repro, print techniques and their impact on each other.

The course can be "tailor made" to specific company requirements or set up as an "open day" course for individuals or groups.
