ALPS (Air Logic Power Systems, LLC) is a world leader in manufacture of automated plastic bottle and container leak testing equipment. ALPS has delivered well over 1,400 plastic bottle leak detectors for all container types and production rates, and the current population of machines is testing more than 40 billion bottles per year. ALPS designs and manufactures the highest quality state-of-the-art equipment and is proud to be partnered with many of the largest blow molding companies within the plastics industry. MARKET LEADING MODEL 7385 ROTARY CONTAINER INTEGRITY TESTERSALPS Model 7385 rotary plastic container inspection systems are recognized as the highest quality, most efficient machines on the market. Models range from four to 30 test stations to suit testing rates up to the 750 bottles per minute range. Auxiliary tests are available including turntable vacuum assist, functional seal surface inspections, topload, height and integrated vision inspections. NEW LEAK MONITOR FOR BLOW MOLDERS (PATENTED)ALPS is pleased to introduce the LeakMonitor for Blow Molders, a production monitoring tool designed for integration within two-step PET container blow molders (examples include Sidel, Krones and SIG). The system uses an ultrasonic detection method to continuously monitor each mold for leakage. It doubles as a bottle leak inspector and predictive maintenance tool to alert operators to internal leakage during the blow molding process. HIGH SPEED LEAK TEST CIRCUITRY AND INNOVATIVE GUIDED SETUPS FOR NEW LINEAR LEAK TESTERSALPS recently introduced the next generation STM2 leak test circuitry, which is utilized on the Model SS and RS linear leak tester product lines. The machines use a touch screen interface and unique "guided setup" to instruct inexperienced operators through a first-time set up. The leak testers are designed for quick and easy set up and changeover, requiring minimal or no change parts. SS-100 HIGH-SPEED SINGLE-STATION INDEXING LEAK TESTERThe Model SS-100 leak tester is a single-station inspection system using an integrated, indexing conveyor. Use of a servo-driven vacuum conveyor enables precise bottle handling, and together with high speed STM2 leak test circuitry allows testing rates equal to and better than competitive models. RS-100 HIGH-SPEED SINGLE-STATION RECIPROCATING LEAK TESTER (PATENT PENDING)The Model RS-100 leak tester is a unique continuous-motion linear leak tester that requires no change parts tooling. It is designed to test directly over an existing continuous conveyor, automatically tracking, following and testing the bottles as they travel down the production line. Use of a servo-driven linear slide to move the probe head, together with high speed STM2 leak test circuitry, allows testing at rates that often require two or three heads on competitive units using timing screws. SX-FLEX LINEAR LEAK TESTERSThe SX-Flex is a linear machine, available in up to four test stations, designed to capture and test bottles directly over continuous conveyor systems. The unit is designed to provide flexibility and quick changeover capability for low-to-mid speed container manufacturing operations. The SX-Flex is best suited for shuttle blow molding processes that require bottle handling. INTEGRATED LEAK INSPECTION FOR BLOW MOLDERS, TRIMMERS AND OTHER MACHINERYALPS has experience integrating leak inspection to multiple styles of machinery manufactured by market leading companies including Graham Machinery, Bekum, Belvac, Lyle, Uniloy, R&B, Sidel, Krones, SIG and others.
