W. Amsler 2L L22 PET Stretch Blow Moulding Machine Expands To Make 5L Bottles

15 February 2007

W Amsler Equipment, of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, has now extended the capacity and capability of its very popular two-cavity 2L machine to be able to produce 5L bottles at the rate of 2,400 bottles per hour. This extra capability does not slow down the production of smaller bottles. Outputs of 3,000 bottles per hour and more are achievable on lightweight water bottles.

The basic electric servo-driven L22 has been producing difficult bottles for the custom blow moulders since 1996 with a maintainable output that usually exceeds that of the competition by about 10%, while saving approximately 40% of electricity over hydraulic machines.

Available options on the basic L22X include:

  • 5L option
  • Cradle to use existing 'round' moulds up to 2L capacity
  • All Siemens controls with worldwide communication capability
  • Oriented thread start
  • Preferential perform cooling
  • Wide mouth option up to 70MM

W. Amsler machines have been proven to outperform the competition in output, versatility, ease of operation, simplicity, reliability and cost per bottle by a large margin.
